Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Mushroom Sauce

Here is the recipe:
Ingredients
For Steak:
- 1 pc of 250g Sirloin steaks
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper
- Rosemary
- 1 head garlic
- 227g Crimini Mushrooms
Mashed potatoes:
- 500g potatoes
- 60g butter
- 170g milk
- Salt and black pepper
Directions:
- Cook & mash the potatoes:
Add the diced potatoes to the pot of boiling water and cook 14 to 16 minutes, or until tender when pierced with a fork. Turn off the heat. Drain thoroughly and return to the pot. Mash potatoes using a masher. Onced mashed, add butter and milk. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover to keep warm.
- Cook the mushrooms:
In a medium pan, heat 2 teaspoons of olive oil on medium-high until hot. Add the mushrooms; season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, 5 to 6 minutes, or until they are cooked for your liking.
- Cook the steak:
Pat the steak dry with paper towels; season with oil, salt and pepper on both sides. Add the seasoned steak in the hot pan and cook 6 to 7 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until browned and cooked to your desired degree of doneness. Transfer to a cutting board and let rest at least 5 minutes.
