Nutella Macarons

Ingredients

For Macarons:

  • 100 g egg whites at room temperature
  • 100 g of granulated sugar

    125 g of almond flour

    150 g of icing sugar

For Filling:

  • 5 tbsp nutella
  • 2 tbsp mascarpone cheese

    2 tbsp whipped creaml

 

Directions:

  • With the help of a planetary mixer, beat the egg whites together with the sugar for at least 15 minutes;
  • sift the almond flour together with the icing sugar, mix the 2 compounds and make the macarons.
  • Bake in the oven at 300F for about 20/25 minutes.
  • The trick is to let the macarons rest for 2 hours at room temperature before baking!
